UK - a national user-led network of people within the UK who
meet the criteria, or who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality
Disorder (BPD) or, as it is often known in the UK, Emotionally Unstable
Personality Disorder (Borderline Type) |
Manic
Depression Fellowship - MDF, The BiPolar Organisation, is
a user led charity working to enable people affected by Bipolar
disorder/manic depression to take control of their lives. |
Mental
Health Foundation - The Mental Health Foundation exists to

Mentality
- the first national team, established in 2000, dedicated solely

Cambridge
Manic Depression Fellowship Self-Help Group - provides support
to people with manic depression, their families and carers. There
are friendly monthly meetings, sometimes with specialist speakers,
a newsletter, information and support from other members |
Cambridgeshire
ULO - A new user led organisation for anyone with support
needs including older people, disabled people, carers and people with
mental health needs. We are helping to build a stronger user voice
and greater choice particularly in relation to the introduction of
self directed support. |
Cambridgeshire
Mind's Partnership - Home and community support service aims
to assist individuals who have experience of mental distress to maintain
their independence within their community and their daily lives. |
Cam-Mind
- a voluntary organisation affiliated to Mind. It runs clubs
and a befriending scheme for people with mental health problems,
and provides supported accommodation to individuals |
Coping
with Coming Off - Raising awareness, providing support, promoting
choice about psychiatric drugs in Cambridgeshire |
Friends
of Fulbourn Hospital and the Community - The Friends (a voluntary
organisation) provide extra facilities at the hospital, organise ward
parties and help individual patients. They also aim to increase the
awareness of mental health among people outside the hospital. They
organise the Forum Lunch Club |
